Report of the Event
The NSS Unit V, in collaboration with the Department of Community Health Nursing, organized a School Health Programme and Poshan Pakhwada Abhiyan at the Higher Primary School of Chethan Nagara, Someshwara on 5th April 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. II B.Sc. Nursing students actively participated under the guidance of Mrs. Navya (Assistant Professor & NSS Programme Officer) and Mr. Anand (Assistant Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing). Activities included a healthy school environment assessment, health assessment of school children and teachers, and health education on personal hygiene. The students also performed a role play on malnutrition and obesity using various audio-visual aids. At the end of the program, refreshments were distributed to all the school children. The session concluded with feedback from the children followed by a question-and-answer session.
