The process of education shall not confine merely in imparting knowledge. It must be a holistic training in logical thinking and help the students to arrive at the right conclusion to be successful professionals.

It is therefore necessary that Higher Education Institutions embody and reinforce modalities to ascertain the aptitudes of the students and channelize the individual’s attributes to achieve self sustenance.

The placement cell of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), comprehending these concepts has established a placement cell for providing all necessary guidance to students for employment. The cell shall therefore play a crucial role in shaping up the attitudes and attributes of the students to choose appropriate careers.

Mrs. Namrita G Kamath Head- Operations Excellence, Abhinava Global Academy, The Global Academic Associate, GTEC NHS UK group conducted the session. Total 150 students from 3 & 4th year B.Sc (N) students participated in the test. The test results were later communicated to the students.

7	13.10.2022	An orientation program was organized on 13th October 2022 by Abhinava Global Academy, Mangaluru for the III B.Sc (N). It was conducted by Ms. Amritha executives of the academy. 93 students attended the program.
8	5.11.2022	The Trinity language Centre Kottayam, Kerala, organized a seminar on career opportunities in the UK and OET on 5.11.2022 at 11.00 am to 12.00 pm. Ms. Dooby Varghese managing Director addressed 4th-year B.Sc (N) students regarding OET, IELTS, CBT, and free placement to the UK NHS. Dr. Priya Reshma Aranha from Employment & Placement Cell, YNC coordinated the session. Total 96 students attended the program.
9	8.12.2022	An online orientation program by “1NURSE EDUCATIONAL APP FOR NURSES” for outgoing batch of B.Sc (N) and P.B.B.Sc (N) students was organized on 08th December 2022. It was conducted by executives of the team through online Google meet. Total 54 students appeared for the program. 10	16.1.2023	An orientation program was organized on 16th January 2023 by Xera EdTech regarding one year international top-up program for nurses, for the IV B.Sc and P.B.B.Sc (N). It was conducted by Mr. Manzoor, Mr. Hareesh, and Mr. Sunil executives of the academy. Total 111 students attended the program. Ms. Daisy D Souza, Member of Employment & Placement Cell, coordinated the session.
11	17.04.2023	An orientation session was organized on 17th April 2023 by Nexenstial German Aspiration regarding Work and Live in German, for the IV B.Sc Nursing students. It was conducted by Mr. Brijesh Wadeyar, VP,-HR, Nexenstial LLP. Total 95 students attended the session. Dr. Priya and Ms. Daisy Dsouza, Member of Employment & Placement Cell, coordinated the session.
12	17.4.2023	An orientation session was organized on 17th April 2023 by Cigma Medical coding academy regarding Medical coding, for the IV B.Sc Nursing students. It was conducted by Mr. Joyal P Mathew, Marketing executive, Cigma Medical coding academy, Mangalore. Total 95 students attended the session. 13	19.4.2023	An orientation session was organized on 19th April 2023 by Skillplay regarding Career guidance and orientation, for the IV B.Sc Nursing students. It was conducted by Mr. Abdussmad A K, Skillplay education, Dubai. Total 94 students attended the session. 14	10.8.2023	A campus interview session was organized on 9th and 10th August 2023 by Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, Deralakatte, Mangaluru for the IV B.Sc Nursing students. It was conducted by Prof. Bridget D Silva, CNO, YMCH, Deralakatte, Mangaluru. Total 47 students attended the interview. Dr. Priya and Ms. Daisy Dsouza, Member of Employment & Placement Cell, coordinated the session.
15	14.8.2023	A campus interview session was organized on 14th August 2023 by KIMS, Group of Hospitals, Hyderabad for the IV B.Sc Nursing students. It was conducted by Mr. Dinesh Kumar, General Manager – Recruitment and Mrs. Haritha, General Manager – Nursing. Total 95 students attended the interview. Dr. Priya and Ms. Daisy Dsouza, Member of Employment & Placement Cell, coordinated the session.
16	2.9.2023	On the 2nd of September 2023, KEFI Home Health Care arranged a campus interview session tailored for second-year PB B.Sc Nursing students. The interview process was overseen by Dr. Deeksha, Operations Manager, Mr. Vigneshwaran, Senior HR Executive, Ms. Pooja, Nursing Tutor, KEFI health care, Chennai. In total, 30 students took part in the interview proceedings. The coordination and management of the session were handled by Mrs. Janet Miranda, Ms. Daisy Dsouza, and Mrs. Savitha Naik, all of whom are part of the Employment & Placement Cell.
17	2.9.2023	On September 2, 2023, Kasthurba Medical College Hospital in Mangalore hosted a campus interview session specifically for second-year PB B.Sc Nursing students. The event was overseen by Mrs. Gracy D Souza Nursing Superintendent and Mrs. Premalatha B HR, KMC, Mangalore. A total of 30 students participated in the interview process. The organization of the session was facilitated by Mrs. Janet Miranda, Ms. Daisy Dsouza, and Mrs. Savitha Naik, who are members of the Employment & Placement Cell.
