Brief report of the event:

  • The program began with participant registration and a pre-test, followed by a brief inauguration. The Vice Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of simulation in nursing education and the simulation facilities available at our institution.
  • The resource persons emphasized the role of simulation in supporting various domains of learning. A practical session followed, during which participants were divided into six groups to prepare lesson plans. One group then conducted a simulation on the management of eclampsia using a low-fidelity manikin, which was followed by a debriefing session.
  • The program concluded at 1:00 PM. Participants found the session informative and useful and appreciated the opportunity for hands-on learning
